Before I begin my insanely long and detailed thoughts on the upcoming release of the final book in one of my most favorite trilogies, Penryn and the End of Days, I would like to say, good morning, fair readers! I hope your day has been going as well as mine has been but if you managed to avoid a strenuous workout at six o’clock this morning then kudos to you! I wasn’t quite as lucky. Thanks to our rigorous makeshift drill sergeant, the stern and fearsome Mrs. Amber Caparas, we endured 50 stationary lunges per leg, some grueling, four sets of 50 abdominal-muscle-tearing sit-ups and crunches, and way too much sprint time, which apparently works your lower abdominal muscles! So for those of you who avoided this arduous, exhausting workout, congratulations! But it is certainly a great way to start the day.
And guess what? Our make-shift drill sergeant is starting her own blog! All on fitness and healthy breakfasts. Want to know what delectable, piña colada type protein shake we had this morning and how to make it? Sweet! The second her blog is open to the public, I’ll make sure you get it. I don’t think I’ve ever had a protein shake that I actually loved and believe me, this piña colada shake was mouthwatering.
Now, getting to the actual subject of my post …
OH MY GOODNESS GRACIOUS FLAVIOUS CRAZINESS, THE END OF DAYS BY SUSAN EE IS ALMOST OUT!
May 12th, people. May12th.
Tomorrow, Susan Ee’s book cover will be released and guess who gets to show it off to you? Yup. I get to post it here as well so those of you who aren’t as involved in the world of Angelfall as I am, I’ll make sure you get a sneak peak at the new book cover.
So what is The End of Days, you ask? Good question. Sorry, I have yet to write a post about the first two books written by the
eloquent Susan Ee but be patient, dear readers, for the time is almost here! Since The newest book is so, so close to coming out, I will be posting my review on the first two books in the series, Penryn and the End of Days, very, very soon. So watch out for these titles:
Okay, crazy people. So I’m a little excited about The End of Days. Is that so bad? I have sort of, kind of, been waiting for this book even longer than I’d waited for the Alienated book two to come out, Invaded, and if you’ve read my brief review about Invaded, you know I’m crazy about it (Don’t worry, I’m going to post a longer review about Alienated, Invaded, and Until Midnight just as soon as I finish the short story, that way I can sit down and pop out those three, descriptive reviews all at once).
The end of World After left me half hanging off a cliff, half grabbing onto a root that was pulling out of the dirt, so I thought there was hope for me. I thought I would be able to have some semblance of a life after I finished World After book.
I was so wrong.
I was painfully reminded of my need to read Ms. Ee’s book a few months ago and now I’m totally whacko. No good. So now I have to suffer for another several months before I am allowed to read the wonderful new book.
Review for Angelfall and World After to come!
